Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has released a PDF notification inviting online application forms from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Primary Teacher (PRT) posts in Army Public Schools. AWES TGT PTG PRT Eligibility Criteria
- For Primary Teacher (PRT) Posts:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Master’s degree in relevant subject and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with minimum 50% marks.
- Additional Requirement : Candidates should possess Certificate in Teaching (CTET) or Teaching Eligibility Test (TET).
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Posts:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Master’s degree in relevant subject along with B.Ed. degree
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Posts:
Educational Qualification: Relevant undergraduate degree and B.Ed. Degree required.
AWES TGT PGT PRT Age Limit
For New Applicants: Candidates should be below 40 years of age.
For Experienced Applicants: Candidates should be below 57 years of age.
Application Fee:
- For General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 385/-
- For SC / ST / PH: Rs. 385/-
- Payment Mode (online) : Online Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card / Mobile Wallet.
Recruitment Process:
Online Screening Test:(OST) Recruitment process starts with Online Screening Test.
Interview: Candidates shortlisted from screening test will be called for interview.
Teaching Aptitude Test(TAT): Candidates who clear the interview will then undergo the Teaching Aptitude Test.

Final selection will be based on performance in these assessments.
